LRBT is the major contributor to the reduction in the Prevalence of Blindness which has declined by about 50 % since 1989.
In 2007-8 over 1.59 million patients visited OPD in LRBT’s 15 hospitals & 36 clinics and 179,520 major & minor surgeries were performed. This was a growth of 9% and 6% respectively over last year.
